SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara softball has its schedule set for the 2020 season, head coach Brie Galicinao announced on Thursday.
The team will play a total of 39 neutral-site and away games in the upcoming season.
17 will take place at Campus Diamond, including the Gaucho Classic on Feb. 28-March 1.
Games against UCLA, Ohio State, and Washington highlight the Gauchos' non-conference opponents this season, while home series against Hawai'i, Cal Poly, and Long Beach State will provide formidable tests as Santa Barbara looks to bounce back and become a contender in the Big West.

UCSB's season opens at the NorCal Kickoff on Feb. 7-9 hosted by UC Davis and Sacramento State, in which the Gauchos will face Idaho State, Cal Baptist, Boise State, Santa Clara, and Sac State.
The following weekend, the Susan Craig Classic in Albuquerque, N.M. takes place from Feb. 14-16 as UCSB takes on Northern Colorado and New Mexico twice.
Galicinao's team takes to the Bulldog Classic at Fresno State from Feb. 20-23 to play against Fresno State, Illinois-Chicago, and both Pacific and Ohio State twice.
The Gauchos come home for the first time all season on Feb. 28-March 1 for the Gaucho Classic, taking on the trio of Bradley, Portland State, and St. Peter's in a total of six games.
Santa Barbara goes back on the road for the Silicon Valley Classic II at San Jose State and Santa Clara on March 6-8, facing five different teams in Utah State, San Jose State, St. Mary's, Washington, and Santa Clara.
Campus Diamond sets the scene for a midweek doubleheader on March 10, when the Gauchos match up with the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.
Later that week on March 12 and 13, UCSB goes south to LMU and CSUN for games with LMU, San Diego, and DePaul.
The final tune-up before conference play takes place on the weekend of March 21 and 22 at San Diego, as the Gauchos and Toreros play a three-game series.
Santa Barbara's Big West season opens with a home series against Hawai'i on March 27 and 28 at Campus Diamond, and they head to UC Davis on April 4 and 5 before returning for another home series against Cal Poly on April 10 and 11.
A midweek game at defending national champions UCLA takes place on April 14 before two-straight conference road weekends at UC Riverside on April 18 and 19 and reigning Big West champions Cal State Fullerton on April 24 and 25.
The final home series of the year comes against Long Beach State on May 1 and 2, before the regular season comes to an end at CSUN on May 8 and 9.
If the Gauchos were to advance to an NCAA Regional, it would take place from May 15-17.
