Went to La Jolla High School in San Diego, Calif. Cole earned eight varsity letters and led his team in scoring during 2013 season. Named to 1st Team All CIF and 1st Team All League in 2013. In 2012 and 2011, Cole was named to the 2nd Team All CIF and 2nd Team All League. Also competed in swimming in high school...Honored with Union Tribune All Academic Team.

Cole Anthony Martinez was born on Oct. 2, 1995 in San Diego, Calif. Parents are Sami Martinez and Tom Martinez. Has two siblings, Jake Martinez and Myles Martinez. Favorite sports teams are the San Diego Chargers and San Diego Padres...Being named to 1st Team All CIF is his most memorable sports moment. His favorite movie is "Coach Carter" and favorite tv show is "Two and a Half Men." Listens to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and enjoys surfing and going to the beach. Aspires to join the Coast Guard.
