Inside the Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA) building (located on Ocean Road next to Robertson Gymnasium) is the spectacular Phil Womble Hall of Champions showcasing UCSB’s rich athletics history, All-Americans, Hall of Fame, Olympians, and Gauchos in the pros. A new class is inducted into the Hall of Fame every two years during “All Gaucho Reunion” weekend on campus. A complete listing of Hall of Famers can be accessed inside the hall’s monitor and by clicking here.

In 2008 the hall was named in honor of “Mr. Gaucho” Phil Womble, who is stricken with cerebral palsy since birth. Known for his loyalty and passion for the Gauchos, Womble completed his autobiography in 1994, "Never Give Up". Watch the video to the right to learn more about Phil Womble's impact on the Gauchos.

Visitors to the hall can access convenient parking in the Thunderdome (Events Center) lot 27 as well as parking structure lot 22 and Mesa parking structure lot 18. Parking on campus requires a daily pass, which can be purchased at pay meters located in each lot.

When visiting the ICA ticket office, you have access to two free 20-minute parking spaces located between the building and Rob Gym. These spaces are marked specifically for ticket office patrons. For campus maps and directions to UCSB athletic venues, click here.
