Reed won two consecutive California State Championships in cross country, and was also a two-time conference champion...In the 2008 track season she was conference champion in the 800m, 1500m, 5000m and 10,000m...Had personal bests of 17:01 in the 5000m and 36:20 in the 10,000m.

Was an All-State runner at Fountain Valley HS; named All-State from 2003-2005...Took three consecutive Sunset League Championships in cross country from 2003-2005...Named to the All-Orange County team all four years - from 2002-2005...Had a personal best on the Mt. SAC course of 17:09...Competed at Nike Team Nationals and took ninth place individually... Was Sunset League Champion of the 1600m and 3200m three years in a row, from 2004- 2006...Named Sunset League MVP all three of those seasons, and was also named to the All-County team.
