UC SANTA BARBARA
2010: Appeared in four games for the Gauchos,
making two starts in the goal...Recorded a season-best six saves in
a 12-6 win over Pamona Pitzer (Jan. 23)...Had five saves against
Sonoma State (Jan. 23) and Fresno Pacific (Mar. 4)...Averaged 9.6
saves per game and 3.4 goals against.
2009: Started 15 games and tallied 135 saves...Averaged 7.9 saves per game with a 9.1 goals against average...Tallied double-digit saves on five occasions...Posted a career-high 15 blocks in a narrow loss to UC Irvine (Apr. 11) during Big West play...Had 13 saves in the sudden victory overtime win over top-seeded Cal State Northridge during the Big West Championships semi-final game...Collected seven steals and handed out two assists.
2008: Sat out much of the season due to an injury.

Played goalie for Live Oak High School and was part of the 2005
and 2006 Tri County Athletic League championship teams...Led her
team to a second place finish in the Blossom Valley Athletic League
her senior year...Was a Tri County Athletic League First Team
selection as a junior...Her senior year, she was named Blossom
Valley Athletic League Water Polo Senior of the Year, a Central
Coast Section All-Stars Team selection, along with Central Coast
Section Honorable Mention...Was also a member of Live Oak High
School's swim team.

Playing for Legacy Water Polo Club, she participated in the 2005
Junior Olympics...Also played for Morgan Hill Water Polo Club and
Splash Water Polo Club during her high school career.

Chelsea Carrillo was born Nov. 8, 1988, in Stanford, Calif. to
parents Jim Carrillo and Lisa Black...Raised in Morgan Hill, Calif.
with two siblings, Megan and Shelby...In her spare time she enjoys
hanging out with family and friends, and taking trips to Lake
