At the sectional finals in May, she ran a 56.73 to finish 4th and what ended up remaining the 33rd fastest time in CA and the 8th quickest time for a junior. Catching 1st year Assistant Coach Jenny Kenyon's eye in the sprints, it also marked Coach Kenyon's first signed recruit for the Gauchos.
