Nowak's best high jump clearance of the season was 5'7" (1.70m) at the dual meet against Cal Poly...At the same meet she also set the best javelin mark of the regular season for the Gauchos, at 118'7" (36.15m)...At the Big West Championships she would improve to 119'9" (36.49m), moving up to fifth on the UCSB all-time list...Competed in the heptathlon at the Sam Adams Combined and scored 4287 points, moving her into 10th on the all-time heptathlon list.
NCAA Regional Qualifier
Nowak qualified for Regionals in the high jump after clearing 5'9" (1.75m) at the Occidental Invitational, a mark that currently stands as the fourth-highest in school history...Took fifth place in the Big West Conference Championships for the second consecutive year...Tied for first in the high jump at the Big West Challenge Cup, clearing 5'7" (1.70m)...Was third at the Oregon Invitaional with a height of 5'5.75" (1.67m).
