Moreno was Varsity Team Captain form Sophomore through Senior year...Was MVP for her Cross-Country team all four years...Placed fifth at the CIF Southern Section Division 1 with a time of 17:46...Placed ninth in Division 1 All-State meet...Led high school team to its first CIF-State appearance her Senior year where the team placed fourth in state and 35th overall in the nation...All Western Region Footlocker third team with a time of 19:04...Press Telegram Athlete in Cross Country in 2009 and 2010...Set high school records for Wilderness Park, League Finals courses at La Mirada Regional, Mt. SAC and Woodward Park for Cross Country...Was Indoor mile champion in 2010 with a time of 5:16...Also the San Gabriel Valley League 1600m and 3200m champion as a Freshman...Moreno also played Varsity soccer in her Sophomore and Senior year of high school and earned Most dedicated Coach's Award both year...Also made first team All-league in soccer...Participated in Junior Olympics her Freshman and Junior years where her club team Equalizers won nationals twice and placed top 25th in the nation and earning All-American status as a Junior...In her senior year was Warren High School Female Athlete of the Year...Part of California Scholarship Federation...Co-founder and President in 2008 and 2009 of Varsity club...Associated Student Body Class Treasurer.

Parents are Alexander and Yvette Moreno...has four siblings Anmarie, Ayden, Jake and Ryan who is in the Marine Corp...Chose UCSB because of the team dynamics, knowledgeable coaching staff, professors and location...Her free time is spent singing, reading, eating at new restaurants, cooking and hanging out with friends...Favorite movies are "Monty Python"..."Oceans" and "Bourne" trilogies, "Catch Me if You Can"...Favorite bands are the Killers, Phoenix, Jack Johnson, Favorite books are "Badass", "The Five People You Meet in Heaven", "Letters From a Nut"...Favorite athletes are Rafael Nadal and Adrian Peterson.
