2004 Track & Field Recap: In her freshman season Heather jumped a life time best of 5-7 placing her 5th on the UCSB All-time High Jump list. She also finished 8th at the Big West Championships.

High School: Heather is an accomplished high jumper who was voted Turlock High School's female athlete of the year in 2003. Heather won the San Joaquin Section championship in the high jump as a junior. That same season Heather broke both the high jump and long jump school records at her high school, also qualifying for the CIF State Meet in the High Jump and becoming the CCC Long Jump Champion. In 2000 Heather qualified for the Junior Olympics in High Jump.
