Another solid veteran for the Gauchos, and an Academic All-American, this positive and tenacious distance runner looks to be a key point scorer for the squad in 2007. Focusing on the 3,000m steeplechase during last year's track and field season, Farson ran a personal best 11:25.06 at the Big West Challenge Cup. A few weeks prior at the USC Trojan Invite, she also set a 1500m best of 4:47.79.
2005 XC Recap: Made her first Regionals trip as well as her first Big West Conference Championship squad where she would go on to finish 39th.

2005 Track & Field Reap: Qqualified for the Big West 5,000m Final with a PR on her last chance at the OXY invite in May.

2004 XC Recap: Finished 19th at the Fullerton Invitational in a lifetime 5K cross country best of 18:40.7 in her second year as a Gaucho.

2004 Track & Field Recap: Ran a personal best of 4:49.1 in the 1500m in her freshman season at the Cal Poly Dual Meet.

2003 XC Recap: Christie ran 19:10 at the UCSB Lagoon Open...finished 2nd at the Stanford Open 5k in a time of 19:26 and closed the season out as the 5th runner on the Gaucho "B" squad that tied for first place at the Titan Invitational.

High School Notes: Christie ran 18:45 at the prestigious Mt. SAC cross country course.
