Set a new personal best in the 800m and placing second with a time of 2:12.69 and moving her up to eighth place on the UCSB all-time list...Won the 800m at the Big West Challenge Cup with a time of 2:12.94...Narrowly missed qualifying for the 800m quarterfinals by placing 25th out of the 24 runners that advance to the NCAA Preliminaries.

In 2004, Diaz was the Del Rio League Cross Country Champion...In the 2007 track season, she was both 800m and 1600m league champion...In 2006 she was runner up in the 800m at the Div. II CIF Finals...Was First Team All-League from 2003-2006.
