Having struggled with injuries throughout her first two years, this cool and cerebral distance runner looks to make headway in 2007 for the Gauchos. In 2006, even facing a tough injury, Christine came back to run in uniform for the first time at home versus Cal Poly. Getting through the twelve and half lap race with still some lingering pain, Bjelland ran a track best of 19:25.73 in the 5,000m.
