Akeh's best mark of the season in the high jump was a height of 1.67m at the UW Invitational indoor meet to earn her fourth overall...Her highest outdoor mark of the season was 1.65m at the USC Trojan Invitational.

2009
Competed in the high jump at Conference and finished eighth with a clearance over 5'3" (1.60m)...Posted her best mark of the season at the Occidental Invitational, where she cleared 5'5" (1.65m)...Was third at the Cal Poly dual meet at 5'3".

High School
Competed in the Mission League of the CIF Southern Section...Was Notre Dame's most valuable field athlete in 2006 and 2007...Named all-league in basketball in 2006 and 2007, and was all-section in 2007...Was Notre Dame's MVP in basketball for the 2006-07 season...Was awarded the CIF academic award in track and basketball from 2003-2007...Member of the National Honors Society and a recipient of the United States Academic Achievement Award.

Personal
Majoring in biology (pre-med) and hopes to become a plastic surgeon...Was diagnosed with Chron's disease in 2004, which altered her athletic performances for some time. She now has the disease contained and is back to full participation in athletics.
