2016-2017 Outdoor

Competed in ten meets for her sophomore year. Took an early season win in the pole vault at the Gaucho Round Up. Set her season's best at the Ben Brown Invitational, placing second with a height of 12' 8 3/4". Also took second place performances at the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Cal Poly Dual Meet. Placed 15th at the Big West Conference Championships with a mark of 11' 10 1/2". 

2015-2016 Outdoor

Emrick had a successful freshman campaign, capping off her first year with a 7th place finish in the pole vault at the Big West Track and Field Championships. She competed in 10 meets as a Guacho. Her breakthrough performance of the year was at the Cal Poly Dual Meet where she claimed 1st place in a new personal best of 13' 3 1/2", securing a Regional Qualifer in the process. She finished off her season at the 2016 NCAA Track & Field West Preliminary Rounds in Kansas, ranking 44th.

Emrick will be staying on the Central Coast as the Morro Bay HS star will bring her jumping skills to Santa Barbara. Finishing her senior year ranked #7 in the state in the pole vault, Emrick boasts a personal best of 12'7 in the event- a mark she achieved at the CIF-Southern Section Championships for the win. She ended her senior year ranked #31 in the nation among graduating seniors in the event. As a senior, she had six meets over the 12 foot mark, including a 12'3 jump at the CIF State Meet to place sixth. Emrick is a former Los Padres League Champion in the PV and also saw success in the high jump.
