HIGH SCHOOL
Schlom graduated from Lutheran High School of Orange County where she competed under coach Bruce Thomas…Earned coaches award in 2010, 2011 and 2012…Named to All-League in 2010, 2011 and 2012…League champion in the 400m in 2010…Holds the high school and league record in the 4x100…Helped her team to CIF runner up in 2009…Also competed in cheerleading.

Alyssa Schlom was born September 1, 1994 in Orange County, Calif. to parents Alan and Nanette Schlom….Has one older brother named Trenton…Enjoys playing the piano, cheerleading, playing tennis and listening to country music..Favorite movie is “The Notebook”…Enjoys listening to country music, especially Brad Paisley…Most memorable athletic moment was winning the 400m at league championships…Personal hero is her mother…Favorite aspect of college track and field is performing at an elite level…Belongs to the UCSB groups ‘Athletes in Action’ and ‘Real Life’.
