Competed in High Jump throughout the season…Placed 5th at Big West…Season best of 5-4 (1.64m) at Cal Poly Invite.

Montin's highest clearance of the season was 5'7" which she jumped at the Big West Conference Championships, placing sixth overall and assisting the UCSB women to their second place team finish at Conference.

Took second in the high jump with a clearance of 5'7" at the Bryan Clay Invitational...Won the high jump at the United Heritage Invite with a clearance of 5'8" (1.73m) for a new personal best and places her on the Gaucho's all-time list.

Competed in the SCVAL of the CIF-Central Coast Section...Was Monta Vista's most valuable field athlete in all four years of high school...Scholar-athlete all four years...Best high school mark in the high jump was 5'4".

Montin was born in Sweden and moved to the United States in 1999...Double majoring in microbiology and philosophy with hopes to become a pediatrician...Enjoys judo, horseback riding, playing with her dogs and spending time with her family...Has competed at the national level in judo, and was awarded her black belt in 2008...Says working alongside her teammates, who push her to work harder and be the best she can be, is her favorite aspect of collegiate track.
