Helped her team win the 4x400 meter relay at Big West Championships… :24.97 in the 200m dash at Big West Championships… Placed 10th in the 100m dash at Big West Championships with a time of 12.18.

Carey ran a season best of 12.71 at the Cal Poly Invite where she placed fourth overall...Placed 34th out of 74 runners in the 200m at the Bryan Clay Invite...Ran a season best of 58.13 at the All-Cal UC Cup where she placed fourth.

Won both of her heats in sprints at the University of Washington Invitational in the 400m with a time of 58.19 placing her 14th out of 44 runners and in the 200m with a time of 26.11 to place 27th out of 58 runners...Contributed to a winning time of 3:46.91 in the 4x400m relay at the UCSD Triton Invitational.

High School
Competed in the Peninsula Athletic League of the CIF-Central Coast Section...Was All-League in all four of her high school seasons...Holds the Burlingame High School record in the 400m at 58.43...A member of record-setting relay squads at 4x100m (49.95), 4x400m (3:59.95), and 4x800m (9:44.73)...Anchored the 4x100m and 4x400m relays at CIF Finals...Her other individual bests were 12.67 in the 100m and 26.21 in the 200m, and she also cleared 5'0" in the high jump.  


Carey is majoring in English...Has competed at the world championship level in Irish dance, and has also played Gaelic football.
