Beresford competed in the 10k at Big West Championships where she placed 15^th with a time of 37:51.19..Also competed in the 5,000m and 3,000m throughout the season.

Helped her high school team to the Division I state Championship as a freshman...Qualified for the Nike Nationals where she helped the team to a 10th place team finish...As a Junior ran for the Junior USA Mountain Running team where she competed in the World Mountain Runing Championships in Slovenia...Graduated with a 4.1 GPA and was named Validictorian...Member of the California Scholastic Federation and National Honor Society.

Daughter of Jeff and Shelley Beresford...Has one brother, Brett...Chose to attend UCSB because of the team atmosphere...In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, hanging out with friends and dancing...Many people do not know how much she loves her dog Pebbles...Favorite novel is The Kite Runner...Names Kara Goucher as her favorite athlete.
