IRVINE, Calif. - Junior Natalia Lozano was named Second Team All-Big West while she and teammate junior Jordan Dockendorf were named second team all-league in doubles, the Big West announced Tuesday.

Lozano, an Honorable Mention All-Big West selection in 2010, played almost exclusively at the No. 1 spot in the lineup for the Gauchos in 2011. She and Dockendorf did play exclusively at the No. 1 doubles spot. The duo earned honorable mention honors in 2010 while Lozano and teammate Jill Damion were second team honorees in 2009.

Damion and Sofia Novak were each honorable mention choices this season. Kiersten Meehan, a freshman, joined Damion on the honorable mention list for doubles as well. Novak, playing mostly at No. 3 and No. 2, was honored for the third straight year. As a freshman, she was also honorable mention and in 2010, as a junior, she was selected First Team All-Big West.

The major Big West women's tennis honors were shared by the Northern California schools. Pacific's Jenifer Widjaja was named Player of the Year, while UC Davis's Bill Maze was named Coach of the Year and Aggie Megan Heneghan was chosen Freshman of the Year.
