Following her junior season, Natalie Da Silveira was named Second Team All-Big West in singles...Had a 12-13 overall singles mark, including 5-11 in dual match play...Went 4-8 at the No. 2 spot in the lineup and 1-3 when playing No. 3...Had an overall doubles record of 19-15, including a 14-12 mark in dual matches...Went 12-12 overall and 7-10 in dual matches when teaming with Jaimee Gilbertson...Teamed with Gilbertson primarily at No. 3 doubles where they were 5-6...The duo also went 2-3 at No. 2 and 0-1 at No. 1...Went 7-2 in doubles, all in dual matches, when teaming with Stephanie Yamada...The Da Silveira-Yamada duo was 5-2 at No. 3 and 2-0 at No. 2...While playing at No. 3 singles, she defeated USC's Rianna Valdes in the season opener, 7-6, 7-6...Also had a big win in UCSB's Big West Tournament semifinal win over Long Beach State as she defeated the 49ers Julie Gerard at No. 2, 6-4, 7-5...Named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar Athlete following her junior season.
Da Silveira posted an overall singles record of 17-7 as a sophomore...Went 16-6 in dual match singles...Played primarily at the No. 6 spot in the lineup...Went 15-3 at No. 6 in the lineup...Helped the Gauchos to victory in the Big West Conference Tournament championship match against Hawai'i with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Paulina Petriskova...Went 4-1 in doubles matches, playing with Jaimee Gilbertson and Kyla Jarrar.
Da Silveira had a fantastic freshman year with the Gauchos. Not only did she have the highest team winning percentage (62%) and highest team GPA (3.56), but she also had a few huge wins against tough competiton. Natalie clinched the match against St. Mary's for the Gauchos that saw Da Silveira save six match points with a 3-6, 7-6, 6-4 victory. She also had key wins over Long Beach's Ebba Unden, giving Unden one of her three losses on the season, a win over San Jose State's Gaelle Rey, and a win over Hawaii's Viktoria Malova. Da Silveira finished the year with 20-13 overall singles record (16-8 in dual matches) and a 12-12 overall record in doubles.

Natalie Da Silveira is the daughter of Brenda Watts and Ricor DaSilveira. She comes from a family of tennis players; her dad is top 10 in the world for 55s and her brother plays for the mens tennis team at Brown Univeristy. Natalie is a pre-bio major at UCSB and speaks both English and Portuguese. Her favorite atheletes are David Luiz and Eugenie Bouchard. Her favorite movie is Fast & Furious and her favorite sports team is the San Francisco 49ers.
