UC Santa Barbara defeated by Cal State Northridge

MIAMI, Fla. - UC Santa Barbara dropped its second straight match at the ITA Indoor Championships in Miami, 5-2 to Big West Conference opponent Cal State Northridge.

The Matadors earned the doubles point taking two of the three matches.  The third match was unfinished.

Senior Sofia Novak gained a victory at the #2 spot against her opponent Nigora Sirojiddinova 4-6, 7-6 (3) and 10-5. 

April Scatliffe also defeated her opponent at the #4 spot winning her match 6-4, 6-4. Scatliffe remains unbeaten on the year at 4-0.
