Placed 6th in 400 IM (4:24.25), 7th in 200 IM (2:02.79), and 8th in 100 Freestyle (50.88) at MPSF Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Alameda High School under Coach Leslie Cortez… Went to NCS finals all four years… Competed at  CIF… Achieved All-American in the 100 backstroke… Academic All-American… Named high school league female swimmer of the year… Swam club for Crow Canyon Sharks under Coach Joe Natina and Ethan Hall… Competed at Junior Nationals… lead-off leg on the 4x200 freestyle relay that finished third at Junior Nationals

PERSONAL: Catherine Boles was born October 16, 1998…. Nicknamed “Boles”… Is majoring in Biology here at UCSB with the hope of becoming a doctor someday… Enjoys going to the beach, watching Netflix with her roommates, and playing with dogs…. Likes listening to rap to pump herself up for a race… Favorite power-snack is chocolate… Being part of such a talented and motivated team is her favorite aspect of college swimming…Began swimming at age 8… If she could add any event to each meet it would be the 100IM… Getting recruited to swim for UCSB is the proudest achievement of her swimming carreer
