2011 MID-MAJOR ALL-AMERICAN HONORABLE MENTION
2011 MPSF CHAMPION – 200 MEDLEY RELAY, 200 FREESTYLE RELAY
2010-11: Helped UCSB to conference titles in the 200 medley relay (1:40.08) and the 200 free relay (1:32.33) at the MPSF Championships…Was on the second-place 400 free (3:21.53) and 400 medley (3:42.12) relays…Finished third in the 50 freestyle (22.81)…Took fourth in the 100 backstroke (56.57) and sixth in the 100 free (50.80).
2010 BIG WEST CHAMPION - 200 FREESTYLE RELAY
2009-10: Swam the lead-off leg of the Gauchos' Big West Champion 200 freestyle relay (1:32.31)...Took third place in the 50 freestyle at the Big West Championships with a time of 23.22...Placed fifth in the 100 free (51.30)...Won the consolation heat of the 100 backstroke (57.34).
2008-09: Finished 11th in the 100 backstroke (58.72), 11th in the 100 free (52.01), 13th in the 50 free (23.93) and competed in the final of the 200 medley relay (1:45.52) on the Gaucho "C" relay team at the Big West Championships.
Swam for Pacifica High School where she was coached by Jon McFarland...First Team All-Pacific View League all four years...First Team All-County her junior and senior years... Earned All-American honors in the 100 backstroke...Set school records in the 50 free, 100 back, 100 free, 200 free, 100 fly, 200 IM and 500 free, along with league records in the 50 free and 100 back...During both her junior and senior year, she placed first in the 100 back and second in the 50 free at the CIF Division III Championships...A 2008 Scholar-Athlete...CIF Champion for Character...Trident Award winner for overall excellence in arts, academics and athletics...Also competed in water polo.
Kendall Nicole Neely was born on June 14, 1990 in Ventura, Calif....Parents are Jack and Sheri...Has two siblings, Caitlin and Cameron...Hobbies include surfing, reading and bike riding... Enjoys watching "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy...Enjoys listening to Mark Knopfler...Favorite books are the Harry Potter series....Majoring in mathematics with a minor in education...Heroes are her parents for their support and Coach Ted for teaching her how to swim...Favorite aspect of college swimming is competing against top athletes with her friends.
