2012:
In her freshman campaign, she appeared in 54 games for the Gauchos with 44 starts…Posted a .223 batting average on 25 hits, six RBI, four doubles and one home run…Stole seven baseses and scored 16 runs for the Gauchos…Compiled a .286 slugging percentage and .336 on-base percentage…Drew 13 walks…The rookie earned her first collegiate career hit, and lone hit of the game, against then-No. 9 ranked Tennessee (Feb. 9) to spoil a Lady Vols no-hitter...Tallied a hit in 20 of her 44 starts…Posted her first collegiate home run against Radford (Mar. 3)…Defensively, she accounted for 41 put outs and 77 assists.

HIGH SCHOOL

DeJanee was born on Sept. 11, 1993 in Harbor City, Calif.…Parents are Bakyra and Karen Moore…Has two siblings: Damien and MeShalon…If she didn’t play softball, soccer would be her sport of choice…Favorite athletes are Natasha Watley, Kelsey Bruder, Tim Lincecum and Dirk Nowitzki…Cheers for the San Francisco Giants…Her most memorable sporting moments include hitting a home run in every game at the 2008 Western Nationals, making her verbal commitment to UCSB, and winning the Sac Joaquin Section Championship as a senior in high school…Favorite movies include “Love and Basketball,” “She’s Out of My League,” “She’s the Man,” and “Dear John”…Likes to watch “Jersey Shore,” “Pretty Little Liars,” and “Real World: The Challenge”…Enjoys reading “Cosmopolitan”…Favorite attributes of UCSB are that she can play the sport she loves, get a great education and wake up next to the ocean every morning…Her superstitions include not crossing bats in the dugout and not stepping on the chalk line.
