UCSB Softball Announces Summer Camp DatesThe UCSB softball coaching staff has announced its 2012 summer camp dates. The program will be running multiple camps over the next three months, including the Advanced Overnight Summer Showcase and the Advanced Summer Showcases.
Jeppesen Named Big West Player of the WeekFreshman infielder Jenessa Jeppesen was named the Big West Conference’s Player of the Week after a standout performance at the plate this past weekend. The El Dorado Hills, Calif. native helped lead the Gauchos to a series sweep of visiting Cal Poly.

The Aggies edged out UCSB, 4-2, in game one before topping the Gauchos, 4-3, in extra innings during the second game of the doubleheader.
Gauchos Split Twinbill With First-Place PacificKathryn Pilpil's walk-off, two-out double in the bottom of the eighth inning scored Brooke Putich from second base to give UC Santa Barbara a 3-2 win in the first game of its Big West Conference doubleheader with the University of Pacific on Saturday.
