Myrick Named UCSBgauchos.com Athlete of the Week

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Senior midfielder Stacy Myrick has been named UCSBgauchos.com Athlete of the Week after scoring the only goal in the Gauchos' 1-0 win over Seattle University on Thursday night.

Myrick, playing her final home game at UCSB, scored on a header in the 75th-minute against the Redhawks. The goal was the first of her career and it helped the Gauchos end a three-game losing streak.

Interestingly, Myrick scored on a perfect cross from Jessie Edmonds, another senior playing in her final home game. It was the second assist of Edmonds' career.
