2006: Kueny returns to the Gauchos as the 13th most prolific scorer in UCSB history and is expected to continue to be a boon to the Gaucho attack as a starter. 2005: In her junior season, Kueny started all 19 games for the Gauchos, finishing the season with three goals and 15 points, both of which were second on the team...Kueny's nine assists led Santa Barbara as well as the Big West conference...In UCSB's 2-1 victory over UC Davis on Sept. 30, Kueny recorded a season-high two assists...In the next game at UC Irvine, Kueny posted both a goal and an assist in the Gauchos' 3-0 victory...Kueny's39 shots led UCSB...Selected Big West Player of the Week Sept. 12 after scoring a goal in the championship game and recording an assist in the semifinal of the Maryland/Adidas Classic...Kueny was also chosen the tournament's Most Valuable Offensive Player. 2004: Kueny earned Second Team All-Big West honors after scoring five goals, four assists and 14 total points...Her goal total ranked second on the team, and she was fourth on the team in points...Kueny scored all five ofher goals, three of her assists and 13 of her 14 points during the first 14 matches of the season...Had game-winning goals at UC Riverside and UC Irvine...Also tallied goals at Oregon, at Oregon State and against Arizona State...UCSB went 4-1 when Kueny scored a goal in a match...Ranked second on the team with 42 shots...11 of her 42 shots came in the same weekend against Pacific and Cal State Northridge...She had a career-high six shots against Cal State Northridge...Overall, Kueny had two or more shots 13 times in 2004. 2003: Kueny had a very good freshman season for UCSB...She finished with four goals and four assists for 12 total points...Her 12 points ranked fourth on the team and first among freshmen...Four goals tied Kueny for third on the squad...She played in all 21 matches for the Gauchos, starting 17...UCSB posted a perfect 4-0 record when Kueny scored a goal.After scoring just one goal in the first 16 matches of the year, she scored one goal in each of the last three regular season matches...Tallied her goals against Utah State, Cal State Northridge, Idaho and Eastern Washington...In the Gauchos' final regular season match in 2003, a 4-1 home victory over Utah State that clinched second-place in the Big West, Kueny not only scored a goal, but she assisted on two others for a total of four points...Not only did Kueny score three of her four goals in the final three regular season matches, she scored nine of her 12 points in those matches as well...Kueny had 24 shot attempts on the season, including a season-high four in the regular season finale against Utah State. Born August 1, 1984 in Fullerton, Calif....Kueny was a decorated student and athlete in high school, earning Scholar Athlete recognition at Brea Olinda as well as Girl of the Month...She was a member of the National Honor Society...In addition to soccer, Kueny competed in track & field all four of her high school years...She was a long jumper and a triple jumper...Kueny is majoring in psychology...The daughter of John and Teresa Kueny.
