2007: If she can remain healthy, Katie Dwyer will compete for playing time and a starting spot as a defender in 2007.
2006: Dwyer played in 10 matches, starting four, as a junior...Battled injuries for much of the season and did not play in the final six contests of the year.
2005: One of five Gauchos to start all 19 games in 2005 ... Helped anchor a Gaucho defense that ranked fourth in the Big West in goals allowed ... Recorded her sole point of the year on an assist at Arizona on Sept. 25.
2004: Dwyer saw action in 17 of the team's 21 matches during the 2004 season...While she came off the bench for most of her appearances, she started a pair of contests, home wins over Long Beach State and UC Irvine...Dwyer attempted three shots on the season, but she did not score a goal or an assist.
Dwyer attended Righetti High School where she played center midfield, stopper and sweeper...She was a two-time First Team All-Pac 5 League...As a senior, Dwyer was selected her league's Player of the Year and she was a two-time best Defensive Player honoree... At the club level, she played for FC Santa Barbara.
