Born April 10, 1982 in Upland, CA...Planning to Major in Biology and hopes to pursue a career in the Medical Field...She also ran for the varsity Track squad in high school...Avery played for the Santa Rosa United Tsunami club soccer organization from `96 to `98 placing third in the `96 Western Regional, and making finals bids in `97 and `98, while taking home the Cup in `97...She also was a member of the Rohnert Park Express from `98 to `00 and served as the Team Captain in `98 and `99...In `98, Avery was the team's Leading Scorer and following the State Cup Quarterfinals birth in `99 she was awarded the `Ryan Dickey' Award for excellence in academics and soccer...Avery also reached the 2000 State Cup Semifinals with the Express...She was recognized as a Scholar Athlete and a member of the Honor Roll all four years of high school and was a member of CSF for two...She also served as National Honor Society Secretary, Junior Class Vice President, and Senior Class President while attending Rancho Cotate HS...The midfielder and defender was also recruited by Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine, and Sonoma State...Avery is the 1998/1999 Rohnert Park Youth of the Year...The daughter of Alan and Linda Avery.
