Lets Get to the Point
With the departure of UCSB's starting point guard for the last two seasons in LaShay Fears, junior Lauren Pedersen has positioned herself to take over that role this year. The transfer from UCLA has been very impressive in offseason workouts and the coaching staff feels she has all of the necessary tools to be a special player for the Gauchos. Pedersen has great ball handling skills, is a tremendous shooter, and knows how the game should be played. She's natural leader on the court and will definitely be a player to watch in 2007-08. 2006-2007
