Angelei Aguirre was born Sept. 25, 1989, in Dallas,
Texas...parents are Mark and Angela Aguirre...her father played
basketball at DePaul and then competed for the Dallas Mavericks
(1981-89), Detroit Pistons (1989-93, won NBA titles in 1989 and
1990) and Los Angeles Clippers (1993-94)...Mark served as an
assistant coach for the New York Knicks in 2007-08...after
attending high school in White Plains, N.Y., her family returned to
Dallas, Texas...has three younger siblings, Maschera, Alana and
Michaela...Angelei was an assistant coach for Alana's, a
sixth-grader, AAU basketball team...participated in a teen
leadership conference...enjoys volunteering with various church and
