Men Remain at 7th in Regional Poll, Once Again Receive Votes in National Poll

Santa Barbara, Calif. - UC Santa Barbara's men once again received 2 votes in this week's national poll, the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced Monday. The men remained in 7th place in the regional poll this week without racing last weekend. Washington received 6 votes and UC Berkeley received 5 in the national poll although ranked behind UCSB in the regional poll at 9th and 10th respectively.

The men travel to Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, Ind Saturday to compete on the same course that will be used for the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships. Among those competing are 9 of the top 10 ranked teams in the regional poll and 23 of the top 30 in the national poll.

A field of 192 men's and women's teams is expected to compete in the Pre-Nationals.
