Whichard placed eighth in the East Bay Athletic League Finals for cross country in 2005 and 2006...Went on to place second at the CIF-NCS Cross Country Finals, which qualified for the State Meet...In track he was 3200m league champion in both 2006 and 2007...Was also 800m and 1600m league champion in 2007...Placed third in the 1600m CIF-NCS final, qualifying for the State Meet...Lettered in golf his freshman year.
