Bhavik Kanzaria redshirted his freshman season at UCSB in 2008...Finished 121st at the NCAA West Region Championship with a time of 33:39.18 10k course...Clocked a 25:21.4 to finish 122nd at the NCAA Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, Ind....Placed 50th at the Big West Championship meet in a time of 26:01.3.

High School
Competed in the East Bay Athletic League (EBAL) and was named to the All-League team in the 1600m and 3200m in both 2007 and 2008...Was All-League in cross country his senior season...Also awarded All-North Coast Section honors in 2007...Was a member of Monte Vista's relay squad that set the school's distance medley record at the Arcadia Invitational. The squad took third overall.

Personal
Kanzaria graduated from Monte Vista with high honors, and was also a roundtable winner in video and applied design...Enjoys backpacking and camping.
