2017 Cross Country

Competed in six meets for the Gauchos. Opened up the year with a 26:12.3 at the UCSB Lagoon Meet to finish 13th overall. Scored two weeks later as the No. 4 man at the UC Riverside Invitational with a 39th place finish in 25:18.9. Lowered his personal best two weeks later at the Bill Dellinger Invitational to finish 81st in 25:00.1. Produced an incredible run at the Big West Conference Championships as the No. 1 scorer for the team by placing 5th overall in another personal best of 24:43.1, making him the highest placing freshman at the meet. Baddour's performance at the championships would net him the Big West Conference Cross Country Male Freshman Athlete of the Year award, the first to do so since Bryan Guijarro when he took 5th at the 2012 Conference Championships. He would close out the season with a 31:12.3 for 10k to take 79th place at the NCAA West Regional Meet.

2016-2017 Track

Competed in eight competitions for his debut season in a Gaucho uniform. Clocked his first sub-15 performance in the 5000m at the UCLA Legends Invite, clocking 14:55.92 for third in his heat. Took third at the Big West Challenge a week following, running 8:36.46. Lowered his 5000m best again the week after that at the Bryan Clay Invitational, running 14:47.93. Yousef would conclude the season on a high note with an inspiring sixth place finish in the 10000m at the Big West Conference Championships in 31:59.77. A tactical first half would keep the field tightly bunched and poised for a fast finish, and Yousef would power home valiantly, finishing the second half of his race almost two minutes faster than the first half. He would also go on to finish just outside scoring position in the 5000m the next day in tenth place.
