2011: After competing on the track and field team as a freshman, 2011 marked Greg Dotson's first year on the cross country team where he competed in three meets for UCSB and one unattached. Dotson had a standout performance at the CSU Fullerton Titan Invitational 8k leading for UCSB with a 16th-place finish overall, clocking a personal best of 25:10.5. At the UC Riverside Invitational 8k, Dotson placed 51st running a 25:25...Dotson earned a 23rd-place finish at the Cal State Northrige Invitational 8k with a time of 25:57.87. 2010: He competed on the track and field team as a freshman.

Dotson attended Burbank High School...Ran a 15:45.00 in the three-mile run at the Mount SAC Invitational, a personal record and good for second place...Placed third in the Pacific League Meet with a time of 16:13.00 in the three-mile run...Set a personal beest of 16:01.00 in the 5k at the Asics Clovis Invitational to place 14th...Dotson also has personal bests of 4:11.40 in the 1600 meters, 1:49.40 inthe 800 meters and 4:16.29 in the mile run... was the 2010 800m CA state runner-up... Two Time Pacific League champion in the 800m.
