2011: Jeremy Acosta competed in six meets...He ran a personal best at the 2011 Ben Brown Invite 5k with 14:47.32...He competed in the 2011 Lagoon Home Opener 8k placing thirrd with 24:40.4...Finished 91st at the UC Riverside Invitational with a time of 25:47.6...At the Stanford Invitational 8k, Acosta shined for UCSB with a 24:25 earning him a 16th-place finish overall and first for UCSB...Again leading for the Gauchos, he placed 49th at the Pre-Nationals 8k with a time of 25.09...At the Big West Championships, Acosta finished 12th-place with 24.18.6. Running a 30:31, Acosta placed 32nd overall in the men's 10k NCAA Division 1 West Regionals. 2010: Acosta competed in five meets... Sophomore year he ran the 2010 Big West Conference Championship 10K in 31:50.63... Ran a personal best at the 2010 Stanford Invite 8k with a time of 24:27...2009: Jeremy Acosta redshirted the 2009 season at UCSB.

High School
Was All-League from 2004-2008 and a CIF Champion in 2008... Captain of the Cross Country team his Junior and Senior Year... Placed first at the 2008 CIF Finals and all CIF... At the 2008 CIF Track State Meet he placed 7th in the 3200m with a time of 9:08... In 2007, he ran a course record of 14:08 at Bell Jeff, and another course record at Kenny Staub-Barnes Invite in 15:26... In 2008 he ran a 14:58 at the Mt. Sac Invite.

Personal
Aspires to become a physical fitness trainer... Achieved a 4.00 GPA his fall 2010 quarter... Competed in other sports such as soccer, basketball, and baseball...
