2011: Rusty Parker competed in four meets for UCSB. At the CSU Fullerton "Titan" Invitational, Parker placed an impressive 21st overall, finishing second best for the Gauchos, clocking a new 8k personal best at 25:23.2... Placed 50th at the UC Riverside Invitational running a 25:23.5...Finished 102nd at the Stanford Invitational 8k with a time of 25:5. 2009: After redshirting his first season, Rusty Parker was active in 2009...Finished 18th at the Titan Invitational in an 8k time of 26:30.0...Finished 154th at the UC Riverside Cross Country Invitational in a time of 27:04. 2008: Parker redshirted his first season at UCSB.

High School
Competed in the South Coast League of the CIF-SS Div. I... Was all-league in cross country in 2006 and 2007...A member of the Dana Hills cross country squad that captured the 2007 Division I State Championship...Also a member of the distance medley and 4x800m relay squads that set school records...Held times of 1:55.25 in the 800m, 4:29 in the 1600m, and 16:02 on the Woodward Park course...Scholar-athlete.

The son of Russ and Karen Parker...Has an older sister, Paige, and a younger brother, Nash...Enjoys surfing, jamming, and kung fu and zombie movies.
