UC SANTA BARBARA
2010: Made 18 appearances in the goal and started three contests for the Gauchos…Tallied 115 saves and had a 12.0 saves per game average…Averaged 8.2 goals against…Was third on the team with 18 steals…Had a season-high 13 saves against Pacific (Nov. 13)…Tallied 11 saves in a sudden victory win over Long Beach State (Oct. 23). 

2009: Made six starts in goal as a freshman, played a total of 8.75 games...Posted 84 saves and averaged 9.6 saves per game...Posted a 7.2 goals against average...Also tallied three assists and three steals...Posted a career-best 15 saves in a 10-9 overtime loss to Loyola Marymount (Oct. 11) at the UC Irvine Invitational...Limited USC to just six goals while making six stops on Oct. 29...Had 12 saves in 12-9 loss to UC Irvine at MPSF Tournament (Nov. 28).

2008: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played at Newport Harbor for head coach Jason Lynch...While he was with the Sailors, the team won four consecutive Sunset League Championships...Helped Newport Harbor to the 2007 CIF Division I crown, which he names as his most memorable athletic experience...The Sailors were 2006 CIF semi-finalists and 2005 finalists...Was named First Team All-Sunset League, First Team All-County, First Team All-CIF Division I, and First Team All-American...Was named the 2008 Newport Harbor team captain...Recieved All-County "Dream Team" honors...Earned athlete of the week accolades from both the Daily Pilot as well as the Orange County Register...Was also a member of the varsity swim team.

Played for Newport Water Polo...Earned Most Valuable Player distinction.

PERSONAL
Myles Christian was born on Feb. 27, 1990 in El Segundo, Calif....Son of Hans and Bridget Christian...Has a younger sister, Carly...Has yet to declare a major at UCSB...When outside of the pool, he enjoys eating, bodysurfing, surfing, and hanging out at the beach...Names "Man on Fire" as his favorite film while MGMT is his favorite musical group.
