UCSB Athletics to Distribute Student Tickets For Saturday's Men's Volleyball Playoff Match

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – This Saturday's MPSF Tournament Quarterfinal match against UCLA – UC Santa Barbara's first posteason home match since 2007 – is expected to sell out, but students need not worry as UCSB Athletics will be distributing complimentary tickets to the first 200 students to show up to the Ticket Office at the Intercollegiate Athletics Building on campus this Thursday, Apr. 17.

The Ticket Office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If tickets are still available after Friday, they will be given to students outside Rob Gym on Saturday before the match, beginning at 6:00 p.m. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

After all complimentary tickets are distributed, tickets will be sold at $5 for UCSB students and youth and $10 for adults.

In the regular season, the fifth-ranked and fourth-seeded Gauchos went 17-8 with a 16-8 record in MPSF play, the most conference wins in program history. The last time the Bruins came to Rob Gym, UCSB came away with a three-game sweep as part of an early March four-match winning streak.
