Qualified for Conference for the second year in a row, this time barely missing All-Conference with a fourth-place showing in the shot put. He threw a personal best at the Conference Meet, hitting 54'6" (16.61m) on his best throw. That throw places him in eighth on the UCSB all-time shot put list...Earlier in the season he took seventh at the USC Trojan Invitational, hitting a mark of 53'0" (16.15m) which was a personal best at the time...Was fifth at the Big West Challenge Cup after throwing 49'1.75" (14.98m)...Took third at the Soka Invitational at 50'5.50" (15.38m), a meet where the Gauchos finished 1-2-3 in the shot. 2007
