2003 Track Recap: Ryan recorded the farthest mark in the shot put by a Gaucho in the past 15 years (#7 All-time) with a personal best throw of 51' 11.25 at the OXY Invitational...won the shot put at All-Cal Cup and finished second in the event at the Big West Challenge Cup...placed 12th in the shot at the Big West Championship.

Coach's notes: Lockner played football at Santa Barbara CC before transferring to UCSB in January of 2003...holds school record in the shot put at California HS (San Ramon).
