After nearly 18 months of injuries, Bryon came to life in one of the most thrilling performances in Gaucho history. In a loaded 1500m field at the Big West Championships, Lamorandier electrified Gaucho fans by winning the event from a come from behind effort, and becoming the first Gaucho 1500m champion since 1991.

Played a crucial role in securing the Big West Championships by taking fifth overall as the team's third runner.

Fought off injury and illness to finish strongly at the Big West Championships where he placed 4th in the 1500m with a best of 3:50.84, and 5th in the 800m...Lamorandier's 1500m time was the school's fourth fastest mark of all time, and his 800m best of 1:51.99 ranked third in the conference this year.
