2007 Season -- Finished 7th in the shot put at the Big West Championships...Was runner-up at the All-Cal Challenge with his best throw hitting 53'8.5"...Was also 7th at the Cal-Nevada meet with a throw of 54'8".

2006 Season -- Threw a regional-qualifying 55'8.5", a mark that stands as the fourth all-time heave in school history.

2005 Season -- Barkley threw over 53 feet, landing a personal best of 53'6.75" at the Northridge Open, taking home the title... Finished 8th at the Big West Championships, solidifying the last scoring spot in a 5th-8th Gaucho finish.

High School -- Barkley finished 7th at the 2004 Arcadia Invitational with a personal best 60' 6" in the shot put... Has the 6th-best HS mark in CA for the shot put in '04.
