2007 Season -- Entered the 10,000m at the Conference Championships and came away with a 7th-place showing...Battled through injuries and never reached his usual level of performance.

2006 Season -- Keeping it rolling after a stellar cross country season, Ashley notched some big personal bests and came up only one place short of qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the 5000m. Starting the '06 campaign a little later than usual to maintain his health, he would let things loose at the Stanford Invitational the last weekend in March. In the 5000m "B" section he would rock the last lap against a stellar field, winning in 14:03.65, the second fastest 5k mark in school history and a time that would lead the Big West all year. He would then go onto win the Big West Challenge Cup 3000m the following week in the #9 All-Time UCSB mark of 8:26.94. At the Cal-Poly SLO-UCSB Dual Meet at the end of April he would run a five second best in the 1500m, 3:48.87, the #6 All-Time UCSB mark. The middle of May, at the Big West Championships a fast last lap was too much for Ashley in the 1500m, but he nonetheless grabbed a 4th place and got ready for the 5000m, a little less than two hours away. In the 5k, he would finish an All-Conference 3rd place, his first honor for the Gauchos. Then to cap off his season he would run a tough 5,000m final at the NCAA West Regional Championships, notching a 6th place finish, just one spot outside NCAA Championship qualifying, in the thin air and windy conditions of Provo, UT.

2005 Season -- Redshirted his 2nd year due to injury... Came back after the season to run an unattached 5k personal best of 14:36.

2004 Season -- Ashley finished 8th in the Big West 1500m final as a true freshman, running a personal best 3:53.06.

High School -- Ashley qualified for the 2003 CA State meet in the 1600m by finishing 3rd at the CCS Finals in a personal best 4:15.83... Finished 7th in the 2003 Stanford Invitational Boys Mile with a personal best 4:18.82.
