Competed five times for his second year as a Gaucho. Captured two second place finishes in the long and triple jump at the Cal Poly Dual Meet, jumping a wind-aided 21' 6" and 46' 6" respectively. 


Competed in nine meets for his freshman year. Set a new personal best in the triple jump at the Big West Challenge Cup, taking second with a mark of 45' 9 1/4". Bested that mark a few weeks later at the Cal Poly Dual Meet, jumping 46' 11" for second into a -2.8 m/s headwind. Helped the 4x100m relay squad for an eighth place finish at the Big West Conference Championships.


Yeager will add versatility to the Gauchos jumps and hurdles corps and could see action in a variety of events. A star for the Los Altos HS Eagles, Yeager is a De Anza League champion in the triple jump and has a prep best in the event of 45'6. As a senior he collected league titles in the 110m hurdles, long jump, high jump and triple jump. Showing a wide range of ability, Yeager has bests of 14.58 in the 110m Hurdles, 6'6 in the high jump and 21'5 in the long jump. Recently, he posted the second fastest time in the Arcadia Invite day section in the 110m Hurdles at 14.72. Prep coaches were Dave Barth and George Carty . 


Parents are Katy and Joe Yeager...Has three Siblings, Danny, Sarah and Hunter...Majoring in Physics at UCSB...Aspires to become an Aerospace Engineer...Enjoys playing video games, fishing, and watching football and basketball...Personal hero is his father.
