Ran in seven competitions for the Gauchos. Opened in the 1,500m at the All-UC, finishing in 3:58.49. Came back at the Big West Double Dual in the 1,500m, recording a time of 4:00.10. Dropped to the 800m at the Westmont Collegiate Classic, finishing in 1:54.35, a new lifetime best. Ran 1:55.46 in the 800m at the SFSU Distance Carnival. Capped the year with a 1:55.79 showing in the 800m at the Cal Poly Dual.

Made his UCSB debut at the All-Cal Challenge Cup, finishing 11th. Recorded a fifth place finish in the 1500m at the Riverside Dual meet with a PR time of 4:01.75. Also clipped a 1:58.47 in the 800m at the Riverside Dual to take 6th place.

Received Varsity Cross Country MVP honors in 2009 and 2011…Earned All-League CVC from 2010-11…2012 League Champion in the 1600m…2011-12 League Champion in the 800m…Helped the Oakmont High Vikings to a league Championship in the 2011-12 season.
