Competed in seven meets for the Gauchos in his debut season. Opened the year with a 44'11.5 win in the triple jump at the Round-Up. Came back with a 45'3 three bound leap, good for third at the All-UC. Jumped 45'0.25 at the Big West Double Dual, placing fifth for the Gauchos. Jumped 45'6 at the UCR Spring Track Classic and followed that up with a season's best at the Stanford Invite, jumping out to 45'8. Jumped 45'1.25 at the Big West Challenge Cup to place third. Finished the year out with a third place performance at the Cal Poly Dual, jumping out to 45'6.5, his sixth meet on the year over the 45 foot mark. 

Bush led the Bellarmine Bells to the 2014 Western Catholic Athletic league track and field championship by winning the triple jump league title and guiding the 4 x 100m squad to victory. The short relay took aflame after the WCAL meet and raced all the way to the CIF State Championships. Bush recorded a personal best leap of 45'7 in the triple jump at the CCS Finals.
