Attended Menlo-Atherton High School in Portola Valley. Was voted his High School's Athlete of the Year. Was apart of Menlo-Atherton's school record setting DMR squad. Had a breakthrough senior year, clipping off a 4:16.54 1600m at the CCS Championships. Won the CCS 1600m title as a junior, earning a qualifying bid to the CIF State Championships. Earned All-League Honors in Cross Country and Track and Field. High school coaches were Eric Wilmurt and Alan Perry.

Personal
Parents are Carl Baier and Tamara Suden...Majoring in Mechanical Engineering...Aspires to be a product designer...Also played soccer, basketball and was on a club swim team...Favorite movie is Django Unchained...Favorite athletic memory was beign the last qualifier into the 2012 CCS 1600m Championships and ending up taking the win...Can complete a 1 handed push up...Favorite aspect of college track, "Competing not only to see who is the most physically fit, but who is the most mentally tough."
