Breakout 2012 season saw Scott compete in 4 X 400m Relay, 800m, 400m and 200m…. personal best 22.80 in 200m at Cal Poly Invitational…. Personal best 47.54 in 400m at 2012 Cal-Nevada Championships… Personal best 1:52.27 in 800m at All-Cal Challenge…. Posted 48.14 in 400m Finals at 2012 Big West championships…4 X 400m relay team time 3:11.63 in 2012 Big West Championship Finals… Competed in NCAA Division I West Preliminaries in 4 X 400m Relay and posted 3:10.47.
Made an immediate impact in the sprints as a freshman...Set a career best time of 47.98 in the 400m at the Cal/Nevada Championships and a third place finish...Part of the 4x400m relay team that ran 3:10.82 finishing third place at the Big West Conference Championships...Also competed in the 800m run where he clocked in a season best time of 1:58.09 at the Westmont Quadrangular.
Scott in his sophomore year was part of the 4x400m relay team that broke the school record...Broke the DMR school record, the 200m and the 400m school records at Claremont High School his senior year...Qualified for CIF Southern Section Preliminaries in the 200m with a time of 21.7...Made it to the CIF Southern Section Finals in the 400m running 48.27...Was on the National Honor Roll his sophomore and junior year...Won top student-athlete of the Baseline League...Chosen and attended the Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama.
Parents are Brandy and Oscar Scott...Has two siblings Taylor and Payton...Enjoys mountain biking, studying and hanging out with friends in his free time...Majoring in Biology...Lists his favorite movies as "I am Legend", "Transformers", "Radio" and "Bad Boys"...Enjoys listening to Hip-Hop and R&B...Favorite book is "Invisible Man"...Favorite athletes are Michael Johnson and Jeremy Wariner.
